This blog is all about Westie Rescue. While I rescue Westies, I really think that they rescued me first. Read about the rescued Westies that are part of my family and those whom I fostered and placed in healthy, forever homes. While I am using the personal pronoun “I”, I am connected to a network of volunteers who transport, foster, and participate in  fundraising activities; all for the love of Westies.

The most important Westies in my life, rescued all, are Lucy, Dougal, Snapple, and Miss Idgy: the Westies that stole my heart.

I am affiliated with Maryland Westie Rescue, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Chesapeake West Highland White Terrier Club. You can find us at http://www.marylandwestierescue.com/ or at http://marylandwestieclub.com/

I invite your comments or to tell your stories… do it for the Westies.

Oh, gosh, Vickie, your Westies are so lucky to have you and John to love them!

Just read your story on Snapple and your loving rescue of her. What a fine thing you have done to bring her home and care for her in her final years. Though we haven’t met, (just email chatted) I like you already!
